Who owns media in India : ** Must Read

A VERY INTERESTING ARTICLE ... A MUST READ
read this article and think.....HOW WE WONDER WHAT WE ARE..!!!

Who owns the media in India ?

Recent Gujrat election have witnessed unaccountable money paid tomedia persons of both, print and electronic by Saudi Arabia todiscredit Modi and the Hindutva forces, which Media did very faithfullywithout success.

There are several major publishing groups in India , the mostprominent among them being the Times of India Group, the Indian Express Group, the Hindustan Times Group,
The Hindu group, the Anandabazar Patrika Group, the Eenadu Group, the Malayalam Manorama Group,
the Mathrubhumi group, the Sahara group, the Bhaskar group, and the Dainik Jagran group.

Let us see the ownership of different media agencies.

NDTV: A very popular TV news media is funded by Gospels of Charity in Spain Supports Communism. Recently it has developed a soft corner towards Pakistan because Pakistan President has allowed only thischannel to be aired in Pakistan Indian CEO Prannoy Roy is co-brother of Prakash Karat, General Secretary of the Communist party of India. His wife and Brinda Karat are
sisters.

India Today which used to be the only national weekly who supported BJP is now bought by NDTV!! Since then the tone has changed drastically and turned into Hindu bashing.

CNN-IBN: This is 100 percent funded by Southern Baptist Church with its branches in all over the world with HQ in US. The Church annually allocates $800 million for promotion of its channel. Its Indian head
is Rajdeep Sardesai and his wife Sagarika Ghosh.

Times group list:
Times Of India, Mid-Day, Nav-Bharth Times,Stardust , Femina, VijayaTimes, Vijaya Karnataka, Times now (24- hour news channel) and many more.. Times Group is owned by Bennet & Coleman. 'World Christian
Council' does 80 percent of the Funding, and an Englishman and an Italian equally share balance 20 percent. The Italian Robertio Mindo is a close relative of Sonia Gandhi.

Star TV: It is run by an Australian, who is supported by St. Peters Pontificial Church Melbourne .

Hindustan Times: Owned by Birla Group, but hands have changed since Shobana Bhartiya took over. Presently it is working in Collobration with Times Group.

The Hindu:
English daily, started over 125 years has been recently taken over by Joshua Society, Berne , Switzerland . N.Ram's wife is a Swiss national.

Indian Express: Divided into two groups .

The Indian Express and new Indian Express (southern edition) ACTS Christian Ministries have major stake in the Indian Express and latter is still with the Indian counterpart.

Eeenadu: Still to date controlled by an Indian named Ramoji Rao.
Ramoji Rao is connected with film industry and owns a huge studio in Andhra Pradesh .

Andhra Jyothi: The Muslim party of Hyderabad known as MIM along with a
Congress Minister has purchased this Telugu daily very recently.

The Statesman: It is controlled by Communist Party of India.

Kairali TV: It is controlled by Communist party of India (Marxist)

Mathrubhoomi: Leaders of Muslim League and Communist leaders have major investment.

Asian Age and Deccan Chronicle: Is owned by a Saudi Arabian Company with its chief Editor M.J. Akbar.

Gujrat riots which took place in 2002 where Hindus were burnt alive,
Rajdeep Sardesai and Bharkha Dutt working for Star TV at that time got around 5 Million Dollars from Saudi Arabia to cover only Muslim victims which they did very faithfully. Not a single Hindu family was interviewed or shown on TV whose near and dear ones
had been burnt alive, it is reported

Tarun Tejpal of < Tehelka.com regularly gets flat check from Arab countries to target BJP and Hindus only, it is said.

The ownership explains the control of media in India by
foreigners. The result is obvious.

PONDER OVER THIS. NOW YOU KNOW WHY EVERY ONE IS AGAINST TRUTH, HOW VERY SAD.

Vegetable bargaining !!!

We often go to shopping with our moms , pops, uncles , aunts etc, We can observe one thing common in all of them while shopping i.e they accept the printed prices with bar codes but can't get out without hassling at places where these bar codes are missing. By printed prices I mean, the exorbitant brand prices @ shopping malls, big soooper bazaars and all. And moreover the latest marketing tactics make us feel complacent that we are getting far more than what we are supposed to get. But what about he places where these bar codes / price tags are missing. Really pathetic at some places esp. at local vegetable mandis and roadside hawkers.
Though most of us now shop at Spencers and Freshes, it happens for us to buy at least some articles with local veg mandis , shops etc. Have we anytime observed the case at these places. Just look at a conversation between a lady and a vegetable peddler :
(L - lady : P - peddler)
L : what is the price of these tomatoes?
P : 6 Rs / Kg
L : tell me one more price ?
P : at last , i can give you for 5 Rs / Kg
L : Ok , lets make it 4 / Kg and i'll buy 3 Kgs
P : ( huhhh ,,, this lady ...) OK , lets have it ( with a dull sluggish sigh)
L : ( rejoicing her victory in her mind, - yeah i've done it ,as if she saved some tonnes for her daughter's marriage or for her son's education)
Lets get into the facts and numbers . It is very much obvious that these peddlers and hawkers mark the prices a bit higher than the cost price. But they are not as high as we see in super bazaars and Freshes. The same above tomatoes are priced @ 8 Rs / Kg with eight striked and written as 7 Rs / Kg below it hoodwinking us and making us believe that they are offering a free bargain before we ask.And morever these peddlers have to bear the loss of rotten items/wastage , the burden of transport charges to get the things from main markets to their homes, storage charges , moving all over the cities covering large areas from morning till evenings etc. By end of the day , he is hardly left with any coins.
And moreover , let us understand that , in the above negotiation the lady saved 3 * 1 = 3 Rs . it may happend 5 to 6 times a month with 3 to 4 types of vegetables (supposing). So final saving comes to a picayune amount of Rs 60 to 65 per month( in worst case) for a family of 4. The lady here many be our mom, aunt, uncle or we ourselves. We can understand how much this amount is worth for us and how much this is worth to the poor peddlers who toil thru'out the day for few pennies. --> It costs us a big bottle of coke , but for them, it gives them a day's bread for the entire family.
And finally, here comes few words to act. Lez not bargain / hassle with such ppl for few pennies. Its fine doing that once, but not twice or thrice till we win. Let us lose for the betterment of these poor peddlers and hawkers. May be their good wishes may equip us with good fortunes if they are tendered the right amount .......

Begging - really not that bad !!!

Begging - common verb and action we come across every day, while we are busy travelling to our destinations. Some knock the car doors, some others just buzz you on bikes at signals, some stretch their hands for help into the autos .It is also a common observance that we express all the bledy regret on our face thinking when will India develop / when will these beggers leave india / when will they become self sufficient / can't they work hard and earn .....huhhhh
Beggars are different types - males, females ,old , young, physically handicapped , leppers (some original some fake) , woman carrying a baby with an empty parched milk bottle yearning for help for a penny. But there is quite a lot of difference between these people. But our knee jerk reaction is same for all,,,most of us just neglect (with or without regret on face) and some of us pick up a coin and offer. Its not that we don't want to lose a penny , but we all think that why can't these ppl work hard to earn ,why do they resort to this sinecure job of begging. STOP !!! who said begging is an easy job.Their duty starts along with us at 8 in the morning and goes on continuously till night(hardly any break in between). They neither care of wrath of hot sun,nor any chilled weather, nor heavy rains , nor care about the heavy pollution near heavy cross roads and that too standing / scurrying here and there with a fit of mental pressure whether they can reach their daily target or not .
Here is a point we have to make a difference.Jst think...not many will love to do such a tedious job , the only good thing here is that there is no recruiter or capital involved here. There may be old people with a maligned leg or young woman with a baby left out by her husband or there may be a young enervated male begging ...how can an old man or woman with maligned body parts earn the sustinance in this world ?who will employ them ? how can a woman left out with a baby can earn living apart from physical and mental trauma she suffered after being left out by a husband? how can a young disheartened enervated young male due to some terrible incident in his life can earn a living in such conditions ? The best thing they can do is "Lezz Start Begging" (something is better than nothing) There may also be sluggish , lazy young energetic heroes resorting to begging , but we can make out by seeing them and we have to be careful not to extend our hand to such predators.

Our aim is to identify the real needy ones and help them . This is similar to the one which we donate some amount to any orphanage or transit home.

So now on please do keep some change in pocket for donating near signals(for real needy) atleast some days if not daily.Hope we are not losing much by doing this ...hardly equal to an unwanted coke which we order by mistake ,during a brunch or lunch

Climate Climate Climate !!!

Hope everyone would have heard of these words -- "Climate change" , "Save Earth" , and would have observed many environmentalists buzzing around in Tv channels, newspapers columns these days with protectionist verses.....what is all this about....please get the true picture below :
Mother earth is the planet we are all living in. Our mother earth consists of land, water, forests, ice in form of glaciers , atm gases , mountains etc. analogous to the parts of body such as kidneys, lungs , heart...But today we have its (earth's) lungs tearing apart, heart malfuncitioning ,blood oozing out from all over the body in the form of problems like Global warming, depletion of ozone layer, deforestation.Gone are those days where its still not known whether all these are really happening. It is now sure ,our mother is now ensnared in all these problems...(unfortunately we cannot have an medical insurance). How can we say that its tru now ???
The global average air temperature near the Earth's surface rose 0.80°C during the 100 years ending in 2005 and global surface temperature will likely rise a further 1.1 to 6.4 °C in 21st century.
Seven of the warmest of years of 20th century occured in the 1990's with 1998 being the hottest. Non polar glaciers are receting and records show the arctic ice pack has lost aobut 40% of its thickness over past four decades Sea levels have risen 15-20 cms in last 100 yrs We experience more extreme weathers and all the loses may be irrereversible

Increasing global temperature will cause sea level to rise, and is expected to increase the intensity of extreme weather events.Other effects of global warming include changes in agricultural yields, trade routes, glacier retreat, species extinctions and increases in the ranges of disease vectors.

Every year summers become more and more hot and "savouring nice evenings" will be the thing of past , "Today the weather is sexy" will be a popular cliche ! Causes : Fossil fuel production Propellents in sprays like deo's Fluids for filling fridges and any devices that chill Cattle raising(Cattle emit methane , etc) Vehicular emissions

WHAT WE CAN DO :::
Few simple things which we can effort to do...and have to do
Usage of CFL's (compact flouroscent lamps) instead of normal tubes/bulbs
Save electricity by switching off lights/fans/ac's when not in USE
Spread out this awareness in our kith/kin

Things which can be done more , but which we CANT effort are :::
Reduce the usage of Cars / bikes, instead use Public transport
Avoid the excessive usage of sprays / deo's

Note : The above few things may seem to be very small to shed our part, but do remember - drops of water make oceans.....so please do ACT !!!

Save water -- a different way ......

We can save water in the home. But laudable though it is to take a shower rather than a bath, put a brick in the lavatory cistern and turn off the tap while brushing the teeth , we should'nt get hold of the idea that the regular domestic water use is what really emptying the world's rivers. When we add in the water needed to grow what we eat and drink that the figures are really mind boggling : it takes 2000 to 5000 litres to grow one kilo of rice . That is more that what many of our house holds use for a week. Cheese ? A kilo of cheddar or brie take about 5000litres.
It takes 1000 litres to grow a kilo of wheat and 500 litres for a kilo of potatoes , 1000 litres for one kilo of paper. When you feed grain to livestock for animal products such as meat and milk , the figures become yet more startling. It is timely , surely to preach the gospel of water conversation --- but don't try to buy one of those T- shirts with jokey slogans such as 'Save Water - bath with a friend' . Good message , buy you could fill 250 grams of cotton used to make the shirt.Globalised markets mean that whenever you buy a T shirt made of Pakistan cotton, eat Thai rice or drink coffee from Central Amercia, you ar influencing the hydrology of those regions,- taking a share of the river Indus , the Mekong or the Costarican rains. You may be helping rivers run dry.

Bottom line : dont ever waste even a single sheet of paper or a single bit of any kind of edible viand
